"Inspiration, Education, Fun"

"Inspiration, Education, Fun" is a motto I adopted from one of my former students. It sums up my goal as a teacher nicely and accurately. I want to help my students, including those reading this, to find Inspiration and be uplifted while learning jazz. If you can find inspiration in the playing and recordings of jazz masters, then your interest in evolving and developing your Education about jazz will bring you joy and satisfaction. Having Fun on the journey is vital to keep you going when you might feel challenged. More significantly, fun, happiness, love, and spirit will become a significant component of your playing.
