Seeking Spirit
I have been attracted to find deeper meaning in life since I was young. Beginning with my Peace Corps stint in Jamaica, I have sought our different cultural, spiritual experiences and places. I enjoy taking classes in different topics related to these interests. I have been very fortunate to have traveled to and have had profound experiences at Machu Picchu, Stonehenge, the Egyptian Pyramids, Mayan ruins, the Ganges River, Bali, a Wyoming vision quest, Parmahansa Yogananda's retreat and with the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Tutu, Sai Baba, Gary Zukav, Mother Meera, Jonathan Goldman, Marianne Williamson, and Babatunde Olatunjii. My spiritual teacher since 2000 is Amma who is known as the hugging saint. Her example of unconditional love, compassion and selfless service inspires me and helps be a more loving person.
